STAR in Monu - "BORDER URBANISM":

"Potential Nation States" is published in MONU-magazine on urbanism nr8.
The article displays a map showing more than 200 unrecognized regions in the world that claim for the separation from their current states. All of them are potential candidates for forming a new nation state.
During the printing time of this article in MONU 8, Kosovar Assembly approved a declaration of independence on 17 February 2008. Over the following days, several countries announced their recognition.
This could make Kosovo the world's newest country. (As stated in the article, Montenegro would not be then the world's newest country).
