On 24 January 2008 Emmie Vos (Director Europan NL) and Adri Duivesteijn (Alderman Spatial Planning and Living of the municipality of Almere) presented the prizes to the winners of the Dutch Europan 9 sites in cinema centre Utopolis in Almere.
STAR received the Second Prize in the Amsterdam site.
